Q. When trying to select the right window covering for my window, where do I begin?

Are you trying to insulate against heat, cold, or noise? Is budget the most important factor in your decision? Do I want a single or dual function window treatment? Do you care about what the treatment will look like from the street? These are all important factors of a type of blind, shade or shutter to consider. Maybe, there is a particular style you have seen (and like), just let one of our experts help you choose a product that provides the features to fit your needs and your budget.

Q. What types of warranties do you offer?

A. All of our products we sell have manufacturer’s warranties. Some offer a number of years to “limited lifetime warranty” covering the entire product. Blinds, ETC. guarantees the performance of the products we sell under the obligation of the manufacturer’s warranty. Also, Blinds, ETC. goes above and beyond all manufacturers’ warranties (at no charge for in-home service) for the first year after purchase.

Q. What’s the best way to get a price for your products?

A. Since we bring the “Store” to you, it’s best to have one of our sales associates come to your home, measure your windows and show you exactly what you’re getting. When someone calls us for a price, if their measurements are incorrect, we may give the wrong pricing information, and we wouldn’t want to do that!

Also, wouldn’t you like to see what you’re buying? Our low price includes a “Turn Key” service. Just let us handle the design, measure and installation; we take full responsibility and you pay less!

Q. What is the best choice of Blind or Shade for keeping out the Cold (or) Heat?

A. There are many types of Custom Window Coverings that will provide insulation at the window. There are some that qualify for an energy credit that can be up to $1,500.00. Honeycomb Shades such as the Hunter Douglas Duette Architella product is very good at providing comfort against both the heat gain and heat loss at your windows. Shutters can be another product that will provide you with an “R” value. It would be best to have one of our Sales consultants come to your home for a free consultation to address your specific needs.
